- "Programme" — any learning pathway, workshop series, or membership offering made available by Lexora.
- "Content" — all text, video, workbooks, recordings, and other materials forming part of a Programme.
- "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Website or enrolling in any Programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or enrol.
You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. Lexora's Programmes are intended for adult learners.
3. Services Described
Lexora offers educational programmes focused on practical skills for individuals working in or exploring legal support roles. Our current offerings include:
- Foundational Skills Pathway — a self-paced programme covering administrative and organisational skills for legal support environments, running approximately eight weeks.
- Practical Skills Workshop Series — a live-online instructor-led series over twelve weeks with small cohorts of up to sixteen participants.
- Career Pathway Membership — a twelve-month structured development membership including course access, advisory check-ins, and peer group participation.
All Programmes are delivered in English. Lexora reserves the right to adjust, reschedule, or discontinue a Programme with reasonable notice. In the event of discontinuation, enrolled participants will be offered an alternative or a refund for the unused portion.
Our Programmes constitute educational and informational content only. Nothing in our Programmes constitutes legal advice or a regulated educational qualification, and no specific employment outcome is implied or promised.
4. Enrolment and Accounts
Enrolment is completed when you submit the enquiry form and receive written confirmation from Lexora, or when payment is completed for a Programme requiring upfront payment.
You are responsible for keeping any login credentials or access links secure and not sharing them with others. Each enrolment is for personal, individual use only.
Lexora may decline or cancel an enrolment at its discretion, for example if a participant's conduct is inconsistent with our community expectations. In such cases, a proportional refund will be provided.
5. User Responsibilities
By using our Website and Programmes, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when completing forms or enrolling.
- Engage with other participants and staff with courtesy and professionalism.
- Not share, redistribute, or resell any Programme Content.
- Not record live sessions without prior written consent from Lexora.
- Not use any part of the Website or Content for commercial purposes without express permission.
- Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or disrupt their normal operation.
6. Intellectual Property
All Content — including video lessons, written workbooks, templates, slide materials, and recorded sessions — is the intellectual property of Lexora Pte Ltd or its content contributors, and is protected under Singapore copyright law.
Upon enrolment, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use Content for your own learning and professional development. This licence does not permit reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use.
Feedback, comments, or suggestions you provide to Lexora may be used by us to improve our Programmes without any obligation to compensate you.
7. Payment and Refunds
Programme fees are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are payable at the time of enrolment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Current programme fees:
- Foundational Skills Pathway — SGD 220
- Practical Skills Workshop Series — SGD 640
- Career Pathway Membership — SGD 1,210 per year
Fees may be revised from time to time. Any revision will apply to new enrolments only and will not affect participants who have already paid.
Refund policy: Requests for withdrawal submitted more than seven calendar days before a Programme's scheduled start will receive a full refund. Requests submitted within seven days of the start will receive a 50% refund. Once a Programme has commenced, refunds are not available except where Lexora cancels the Programme.
Refund requests should be submitted in writing to [email protected].
8. Programme-Specific Terms
Self-paced programmes: Access is available for the stated programme duration from the date of enrolment. Extensions may be available on request; a small administration fee may apply.
Live-online workshop series: Session attendance is encouraged but not compulsory. Recordings will be made available to enrolled participants for a period following each session. Lexora cannot guarantee technical performance on the participant's end.
Membership: Membership covers one calendar year from the date of activation. Membership benefits are personal and cannot be transferred. Cancellation of membership part-way through a membership year does not entitle the member to a refund of the remaining period.
Participation records: Where Lexora issues a record of participation, this reflects engagement with the Programme and does not constitute an academic qualification or a certification issued by any regulatory or professional body.
9. Disclaimers
The Website and all Programmes are provided on an "as available" basis. While we take reasonable care in preparing our materials, we do not warrant that Content is error-free, current at all times, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Our Programmes provide practical skills education and informational content. They do not constitute professional legal advice, and you should not act on any information provided as though it were advice from a qualified practitioner. If you require professional advice in a specific matter, please consult a qualified professional.
We do not make representations about employment outcomes, salary changes, or career progression arising from your participation in any Programme.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted under Singapore law, Lexora's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Programme to which the claim relates.
Lexora shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special loss, including loss of income, loss of data, or loss of opportunity, whether or not such loss was foreseeable.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lexora Pte Ltd, its staff, and contributors from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Website or Content, or any inaccurate information you provided during enrolment.
12. Termination
You may withdraw from a Programme at any time, subject to the refund terms in Section 7.
Lexora may suspend or terminate your access to a Programme if you breach these Terms in a material way, including by sharing Content without authorisation or conducting yourself in a manner disruptive to other participants. Where termination is attributable to Lexora's error, a full or proportional refund will be provided.
Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, and 13 of these Terms survive termination.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith discussion between the parties.
If the matter cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may refer the dispute to mediation through the Singapore Mediation Centre before commencing formal proceedings. Any proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
14. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lexora relating to your use of the Website and Programmes.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Waiver: Failure by Lexora to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without Lexora's prior written consent. Lexora may assign its obligations in connection with a business transfer.
- Notices: Formal notices to Lexora should be sent in writing to the address or email below.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Website or participation in Programmes after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled participants by email in advance.
